The research activity of the group, mostly experimental, is at the intersection of fluid dynamics, microtechnology and biology. It is mainly focused on liquid microflows involving surface tension.
We actively collaborate with many other research groups worldwide and with several local companies, each of them defining an application in which these microflows are involved.
